Party Missing?

Is UsRulingUs a political party?

According to Austrian Law a party is an association that works on national volition (staatlicher Willensbildung) to delegate voted members to parliament or other national legislative organs. Since UsRulingUs is not intending to act this way, it cannot be named a political party, and cannot be addressed as such.

UsRulingUs surely works on volition, but not in any national sense, meaning or relation. It's true, any global volition should be public as much as possible, but it's not national. States or nations will not matter on UsRulingUs, since membership is managed by networks according to language families. In addition, a member can choose its network, and may simultaneously belong to several language families. Sure, a nation may become a topic or item of discussion on UsRulingUs, but it's organs cannot become an aim or harbour to delegate members to.

UsRulingUs will not send any members, speakers or representatives to national parliaments or other legislative organs, and will not strive for power in any nation or country. Instead, UsRulingUs wants to install a different way of living, apt to secure life on this planet in the long run. For this purpose a new political culture is required, which does not turn towards, or aim at any parties or existing associations, but will concentrate on everyday life and another economy not ruled by money. The main criterion of this intended political culture is its vital activity and independence, engaging self-reliant majorities, instead of waiting for apt souvereigns.

I'm not really pleased with voting twice a decade, to watch the other time, what empowered mandatories might suppose to be right or wrong, after having been voted. Indeed, no mandatory can do else, if his or her voters politically fall asleep again after election's day, to wake up only when feeling rather annoyed or already desperate. I'm afraid classical democracy can't really do much more, even when all kind of charismatic persons do all kind of things to stirr up all kind of auditories.

We might join a political party to grow its influence, or found another one. But this apparently does not change the system, seeming kind of got stuck. While finance capital is ruling the entire world, parties keep quarreling about national items or international relations. Who still believes in political parties of any kind? I suppose there is a kernel of convinced followers, but a majority is just pending on social connections. If there was any program to install a globally working social system, its party should emerge rather asound, and should show fastly increasing memberships. Vice versa I must conclude, if no such emerging party is showing, a proper program is missing still.

I think, indeed all our trouble is self made, since we keep turning into an auditory after having voted. What we do need instead, is our own political activity, starting as soon as possible. It's only us who can create a new political culture, supporting and guiding a conscious way of living. Quite naturally there's no use in voting, even when done every day, if we keep just watching the results. We have to live another way, and we need to be the common result as well, since we ourselves are any social system. We need a social structure that's working in our sence, according to our own cognition and volition. Also we need to be this very social structure, to fill it with life, namely with our lives. We must organize in a way that works globally and persisting. As far as I can see, a level-democracy can do it both. It can provide a social structure, and it can develop a political program, arising from amidst of us while practically solving our problems.

No elected mandatory should get out of sight, when he or she starts ruling. Instead, both should follow a public mandat, should also argue, work and vote in the public, so voters can see what's going on with their bill, order or request. Meanwhile volition climbs the levels, also spreads in virtual territory by gathering and engaging more groups, decided rules can already get practiced. Everyone can check what's working, or what fails for what reason, to change the according bill or law, and to adapt life as well. Cognition and volition cannot be separated in public life, and what's more, must not be parted from living practice. So all we need to start with is a structure which can work this way. UsRulingUs seems to me to be a first suggestion in this direction, and I hope, it's worth to be tried.
